There is a setting for "High Quality" resolution viewing on the Youtube videos that viewers can use. In the lower right of the video screen, after the video starts, you'll see an icon with "HQ" on it. Click the "HQ" and you'll have a more clear, high quality picture.
The "Normal Quailty" that the videos start with is a low resolution so that people with older, slower computers and slower internet connections can watch the video. It's a little blurry.
There is also "High Definition" available now, even sharper pictures than "High Quality." But the videos need to be uploaded in high definition and many people with slower computers can't watch the video then.
