Sandy is right. I work at Regency Florence (Retirement/Rehabilitation home) and they have a CNA course every few months that they pay for if you sign on for 1 year. Also, the Goodwill is opening a new store here in town! I know that they are hiring. I guess it just really depends on your background and resume. My Fiance has been on unemployment for almost a year now, he was in construction..... so if you are in that type of field, good luck on finding a job. But, then again, I think he's really enjoying his time off, so maybe you will be able to find something. One thing I do know, Winter is on it's way and it's better to find something NOW then later.
Thanks for the replies. Sounds a bit bleak. I am currently the groundskeeper for the school district here & my wife is the manager of a discount chain store. We'll just have to watch for job openings to come up.
